We are the local tourist association in Dithmarschen, and we act as the main agent for holiday accommodation in the region. We know most of the accommodation owners personally. This means that if you have a special request or a specific question about a holiday in Dithmarschen you can feel free to contact us directly on (+49) 481 / 2122555. This is a simple process using our acommodation search:

Simply enter your arrival and departure dates into the booking form. You also have the option of ticking the “Dates Unknown” box if you are initially only interested in seeing what is on offer. If you already know where you would like to stay in Dithmarschen, you can choose from the “Locations” list. The “Categories” list allows you to choose between apartments, houses, and hotels. Now, you only have to enter the number of adults and children to ensure that only properties suited to your needs are shown.

You can further refine your search in the displayed list of results, e.g., number of stars the property has, available facilities, distance to the beach, etc.

Once you have compiled a short list of suitable properties, you can then begin to read the details for each property. This includes photos of the property, both inside and outside, as well as a detailed description. You can also access the calendar which will show you which dates the property is available. If you find a property that suits you, you can click the “Book”-button to begin the reservation process. The chosen property with the chosen dates is then moved to the virtual shopping cart.

During the next step you will be offered two travel insurance options. These offers are recommendations and are not mandatory. Proceed by clicking “Your Contact Details”. You will then be presented with a form in which you will be asked to enter all the information necessary for you to complete your booking.

After entering all the necessary information, click “Next” to check all your details before completing the booking process. Here, you will also be presented with details about the reservation terms and conditions, our general business terms and privacy policy. Please read these carefully and then agree. Now you can “Complete Booking”.

A few minutes later, you will receive an email from us with your booking confirmation. If the email does not appear in your mailbox, please check your spam folder.

Yes! All your data is transmitted using SSL technology which makes it indecipherable for unauthorized persons. The property owner and our company will only use the data for the purpose of the booking.

In most cases, you can pay via bank transfer. The majority of our property owners ask for an advance payment of 10% of the total booking price, the remainder should be paid 14 days before your planned date of arrival. The booking confirmation that you will receive shortly after making your booking will contain the property owner’s bank details. The owner of your chosen property will confirm receipt of the advance payment. We are not involved in this part of the process, only you and the property owner are.

Some property owners prefer cash payment on arrival. In these cases, the booking confirmation will not contain bank details but will ask you to contact the owner directly.

The property owner’s bank details are included in the booking confirmation which you will receive by email shortly after completing the booking process. Payment is organized directly with the owner of the property; we are not involved in this part of the process.

This is a simple process. Simply contact us via email at info@echt-dithmarschen.de, and include your booking ID number. This ID number is included in the booking confirmation which you will receive by email shortly after completing the booking process. All cancellation information is contained in the Guest Admission Terms and Conditions. Make sure to inform the property owner if you plan to cancel your booking!

If you book your accommodation via one of our cooperation partners (Casamundo.de, BestFewo.de, NordseeUrlaubbuchen.de, HRS Holidays, E-domizil.de, nordseetourismus.de), then you must contact our partner to cancel your booking. We are not involved in the process in these cases.
